Silver and Copper Mokume Gane earrings. The earrings are slightly curved, side-to-side, and have 18k gold square accents, stamped with kanji: "wood" on one, "earth" on the other. The earrings have Sterling lever-back tops.
Meaning “wood grain metal”, Mokume-gane is a Japanese metalworking technique
originally developed to
decorate swords. Different colored precious metals are fused together in layers, then manipulated to produce
various patterns, such as the grain of wood.
